1. Information We Collect
CompIQ collects information you provide directly: your email address when you sign in, agent profile details (name, brokerage, phone, logo/headshot) that you optionally add, and property addresses and comparable sales data you enter to generate reports.
We also collect standard usage data automatically: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and report generation activity. This helps us improve the product and detect abuse.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To generate comp reports and power the AI analysis
- To authenticate you and manage your account
- To process payments via Stripe
- To enforce usage limits on your plan
- To send transactional emails (report links, receipts)
- To improve our AI models and product (aggregated, anonymized)
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own reports. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe — we never store credit card numbers.
4. Third-Party Services
CompIQ uses the following third-party services:
- OpenAI — AI analysis of comparables and property photos
- Supabase — Database and authentication
- Stripe — Payment processing
- Google Places API — Address autocomplete
- Vercel — Hosting and edge functions
Property addresses and comp data are sent to OpenAI for analysis. We do not send personally identifiable information (name, email, phone) to OpenAI.
5. Data Retention
Reports are stored indefinitely so you can access your history. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@runcompiq.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
6. Cookies
We use session cookies for authentication (managed by Supabase) and localStorage for anonymous users to track device-based report counts. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@runcompiq.com. We respond to all requests within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
CompIQ is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll notify you by email of any material changes. Continued use of CompIQ after changes constitutes acceptance.
